Oceanside Parade |
On June 30, 2007, the East Valley Young Marines marched in a parade with 180 Young Marines, carring flags from all
the states and a huge American Flag in the mile long Oceanside Parade.
We have a class of 20 new recruits among us. While most are new faces to us, a few of those faces are ones
we’ve seen around before. After registration, hair cuts and learning the basics, it was time to get introduced to PT
(Physical Training). The recruits learned to Build a House and did some Tug of War among other things. They all showed great
teamwork skills and as the day went on, they were able to get an idea of what is in store for next drill.
